With five stunning pools, a private beach, and a Michelin-starred Portuguese chef, Mandarin Oriental has outdone itself with its first ‘California Style’ foray into the UAE.

Mixing the glitz and glam of Dubai with the sandy beach of Jumeirah Beach, the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira offers the best of both worlds. The sumptuous and spacious rooms and suites feature modern guest-centric technology and everyone is catered for from couples and families to those visiting the nearby business district.

Relax on the beach or indulge in the superb, spacious Mandarin Oriental spa. The spa has nine treatments rooms including three couple's rooms and a VIP suite. For those looking to keep up their gym regime, the hotel offers a state-of-the-art fitness studio with studio and beach based classes.

When it comes to dining, an eclectic choice awaits. Michelin-starred Portuguese fare at Tasca, Japanese at Netsu and international, brasserie style cuisine at The Bay. The views from Tasca, located on the sixth floor, are particularly stunning.

Facilities

Mandarin Oriental bring their legendary service and class to Dubai.

Service is flawless throughout the hotel. In addition to five pools, the spa has the usual whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms but instead of standard post-treatment relaxation beds, there are individual teepee style pods with comfortable seating and cosy blankets. The vague descriptions on the menu aside, the world-class therapists are worth visiting. The fitness centre offers beach classes and the region’s first Outrace frame rigged with fitness appliances, from swings and ladders to ropes and punch bags.

Culinary options are superb and refreshingly unusual with the Portuguese fine dining and caviar house being standouts.

  • 256 spacious rooms, most with private balconies
  • Located on the quieter side of Jumeirah Beach
  • 5 beautiful pools
  • Incredible 2,000sqm spa
  • 6 restaurants and lounges including two signature restaurants and Michelin-starred chef
  • 5 minutes to La Mer, home to beachside shopping, dining and waterparks

Accommodation

The Jeffrey Wilkes designed upmarket and modern rooms are an absolute delight.

A resort that offers Natura Bissé toiletries highlights the decadence of the accommodation. There’s marble bathrooms, rain showers, bronze lampstands and luxurious upholstery blending with a pearlescent backdrop. Most of the 256 rooms and suites have balconies or terraces, aimed at either the Arabian Gulf or Dubai’s city skyline. Large televisions, control panels for lighting and curtains and tea- and coffee-making facilities add convenience.
