D Maris Bay’s delightful setting, superb food and extensive facilities make for a truly magical, luxury resort on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.

Located on the hillside of the Datça Peninsula, on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, D Maris Bay is a peaceful enclave of beauty, serenity and luxury. The 5 beaches of D Maris (one of which, decreed 'Silence Beach', allows neither music, phones nor children under 12), have some of the clearest water in the region and the white sand, shipped over from Egypt, stays cool in the searing temperatures. Beach parasols feature bells to alert staff – which gives an idea of the kind of clientele and level of service here. The resort’s stellar restaurant options are plentiful, including the superb Nusr-et, a steakhouse made (in)famous by the Salt Bae meme. The hotel itself has a gym, a spa with a hammam, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and tennis courts. There is a dive centre across the bay, as well as water skiing and sailing schools, and guests can enjoy lobster lunches on board Pasa, the hotel's 100-foot yacht, whilst exploring the nearby Greek islands. It’s 2 hours to Dalaman airport by car or 20 minutes by helicopter for a mere £1,500 each way.
