Facilities on the island include an exclusive spa, a fitness centre, a PADI dive school and water sports centre with free non-motorised activities. Guests can enjoy a complimentary sunset fishing excursion during their stay, unlimited snorkelling excursions to nearby dive sites, and an additional excursion of their choice. Cool off in a glorious pool with luxurious loungers, grab a bike from under a palm tree and cycle to the other island across the wooden bridge, where baby black-finned sharks, sting rays and multi-coloured fish swim underneath. One island is the springboard to the overwater WIND villas, snaking across the turquoise water and the other houses the EARTH villas, hidden among the tropical foliage. However, no place is more than a dozen metres from the unimaginably clear water.
The highlight for dining is the incredible underwater restaurant that guests can dine at once per week. Tip – the view of the marine life is better during lunch. Other dining options at the OZEN include champagne breakfasts, scrumptious lunches, and dinners at its International, IndoCeylon, Peking, and Pizzeria and Raw restaurants.
A premium selection of drinks is also included, from cocktails to exotic beers, wines and Champagne at the Joie De VIVRE pool bar.
Accommodation at OZEN is in 90 spacious villas which line the pristine beaches or stretch out over the large lagoon, many with a private plunge pool. The decision lies between EARTH villas, situated on the beachfront with an outdoor bathroom and monsoon shower, or WIND villas, which perch on stilts over the water and feature water hammocks and have direct lagoon access. Both feature clean and fresh design elements, fusing modern design with the natural environment and allow in lots of natural light through the large seaview windows. Or to up the ante, splurge on the three bedroom OZEN Water Suite at the tip of the pier with amazing views all-around and a stunning 35 Sq.m overwater pool with fibre-optic mood lighting.
