For foodies, the fare is superb. Seafood serves homely southern Thai dishes with equal parts heritage and improvisation and the innovative PRU (Plant. Raise. A fabulous 45-metre swimming pool sweeps across the beachfront, beside which is a well-equipped watersports centre and a range of daily complimentary activities including boot camp, power walks and sunrise yoga. Additionally, there are tennis courts, a Muay Thai boxing ring and a gym-with-a-view.
The Jara Spa is heavenly, with therapists trained at Wat Po Temple in Bangkok. Treatments are not limited to traditional as there is craniosacral rebalancing, holistic kinesiology and Thai Thermal Massage.
The villas at Trisara are spread far apart for absolute seclusion and all come with private pools, eye-popping ocean views and outdoor showers.
