10-Day Tanzania Safari & White Beach Escape

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will clear immigration and be warmly welcomed by our team, before being transferred to Arusha. Settle into your lodge and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

After a hearty breakfast, meet your guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephant, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife, including lion, leopard and giraffe. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site within the park before continuing your exploration, then settle in for dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp.

Spend the morning on a further game drive through Tarangire in search of elephant, big cats and the park’s abundant birdlife, with lunch enjoyed either at a picnic site or back at camp. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Karatu town, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge on the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After a breakfast fit to fuel a day of adventure, depart for the Serengeti, stopping en route at a Maasai village for a fascinating glimpse into traditional Maasai life. Tuck into a packed lunch at a picnic site before an afternoon game drive in search of wildebeest, zebra, eland, Thomson’s gazelle and the region’s celebrated big cats. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Rise early for an optional hot air balloon safari over the plains, drift above the wildlife at dawn and experience a glorious sunrise. Afterwards, spend the rest of the day on an extended game drive through the Serengeti’s endless grasslands, then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Seronera airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, departing at 11:00 am and arriving at 2:30 pm. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel, where the warm air and turquoise waters mark the start of the island half of your journey.

Soak up three full days at leisure on the idyllic shores of Zanzibar. Relax on powder-white beaches, explore the spice-scented streets of Stone Town, or take advantage of optional activities such as snorkelling, diving and sunset dhow cruises, payable locally.

After a final breakfast, check out of your hotel by 10:00 am, with lunch at your own arrangement. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight home, bringing your unforgettable Tanzania safari and beach holiday to a close.
