The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is hugely indulgent and signature butler service is always available at the push of a button.
Four restaurants and 24 hour room service is offered including: Lagoon by Jean-Georges, serving an Asian-Fusion menu in an overwater dining room with glass panels in the floor to watch lemon sharks glide by; Bam Boo for fresh sushi and Asian favorites; bold and intricate French Polynesian flavours at Te Pahu; and Far Niente Ristorante offers Italian specialties. Cocktails at Aparima Bar are served to the strains of a live band.
Guests summon a golf cart or use complimentary bicycles to access the facilities, which include an artificial “lagoonarium” for snorkeling with tropical fish; two pools (one exclusively for adults with a swim up bar); and French Polynesia’s only Clarins spa. Tennis, gym and watersports such as sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking are included.
Villas are impressively spacious and those 77 overwater boast multiple glass panes in the floor that allow underwater observation (“Tahiti TV”) to view the marine life, and an overwater deck with a covered dining area, a pair of chaises for sunbathing, a shower, and steps into the sea.
All rooms offer spectacular views and a host of in-room amenities including St. Regis Butler Service, two or more plasma TVs DVD/CD, espresso machine, water boiler, minibar, individual air conditioning, in-room safe, outdoor shower and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Bathrooms are impressively large, with double sinks, a walk-in shower, sunken tub and walk-in closet.
