Laid back and family friendly - as if Robinson Crusoe opened his own resort.

Just a short speedboat ride from the airport, this beautiful resort has the feel of a Maldivian village – if of course that village came with stylish beach bungalows and water villas that revel in their own infinity pools. With thatched roofs and dark woods, it has a traditional, rustic, charming feel as a counterpoint to the wow-factor of some of the archipelago's more glamorous resorts.
The infinity pool is the main heart of the resort, surrounded by the four fantastic restaurants and sun loungers. There’s a PADI accredited dive school coupled with a multitude of water based activities. Night dives using torches to spot nocturnal creatures is a particular highlight and the turtle adventure to one of the most vibrant reefs to be found in the Maldives.

The overwater Island Spa, accessible by dhoni, is a calming oasis with a range of treatments to take the pampering to a serene level.

Facilities

Enhancements to compliment island-life relaxation is close at hand.

The facilities on offer at Four Seasons Resort Kuda Huraa include a stunning infinity swimming pool encircled by the resort restaurants, an excellent dive and water sports centre for the stunning house reef as well as a spa; accessible only by Dhoni.

There are four restaurants; Baraabaru, inspired by the architecture of Kerala, has a traditional indian menu and is located above the waters in the dining gazebo; The Reef Club specialises in pasta and pizza; Kandu Grill serves delicious freshly caught seafood accompanied and Cafe Huraa is a casual poolside dining area.

At nightfall, Sunset Lounge lives up to its name with fiery skies contrasting cooling cocktails.

Thatched beach pavilions and bungalows line the white-sand beach at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, while water bungalows are built on stilts over the lagoon. The 96 bungalows and suites come with private pools or direct ocean access, floor-to-ceiling ocean views, al fresco showers and indulgent L’Occitane toiletries. A choice of down or hypoallergenic pillows as desired, hair dryer, internet access (Robinson would be livid!), satellite TV, CD and DVD player, tea and coffee facilities, phone and minibar.

The revamped water villas and suites are something special as guests are able to dive straight into their infinity pool from the bedroom’s daybed alcove, before relaxing on the spacious overwater hammocks, loungers and sofas of the terrace or descending the steps into the crystal-clear lagoon.

All the architectural details are constructed by local craftsmen using indigenous materials and techniques.
