Thatched roofs, white sands, crystal clear water and the aroma of Tahitian gardenia - this is the ultimate South Pacific fantasy island.

St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is exactly what people imagine a French Polynesian resort to look and feel like; with thatch-roofed bungalows perched on stilts over turquoise sea; breathtaking views of Mount Otemanu and surrounding atolls; and a white-sand beach studded with coconut palms and lapped by calm, clear water.

The 44 acre hotel has been built on long, narrow, Motu Ome'e, which is part of the necklace of motus that surrounds Bora Bora lagoon. One side cradles the turquoise lagoon, the other borders the royal blue ocean. This gives the St Regis a fantasy island location and feel.

Boasting the largest overwater bungalows in Bora Bora and garden villas with private plunge pools; two swimming pools and a private lagoon teeming with exotic fish, turtles and stingrays; 4 restaurants including the signature Lagoon restaurant by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; and the St. Regis Butler Service, which is one of the services that really sets the brand apart. Basically, anything, anytime - just dial 9 and the dedicated butler makes it happen.

Eclectic indulgences of tropical island grandeur.

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is hugely indulgent and signature butler service is always available at the push of a button.

Four restaurants and 24 hour room service is offered including: Lagoon by Jean-Georges, serving an Asian-Fusion menu in an overwater dining room with glass panels in the floor to watch lemon sharks glide by; Bam Boo for fresh sushi and Asian favorites; bold and intricate French Polynesian flavours at Te Pahu; and Far Niente Ristorante offers Italian specialties. Cocktails at Aparima Bar are served to the strains of a live band.

Guests summon a golf cart or use complimentary bicycles to access the facilities, which include an artificial “lagoonarium” for snorkeling with tropical fish; two pools (one exclusively for adults with a swim up bar); and French Polynesia’s only Clarins spa. Tennis, gym and watersports such as sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking are included.
